Today's eye-opening report from the Washington Post finds that there are more young people in DC these days and now we are hip with restaurants and bars and everything! They talk to actual hip young people — who they found in Whole Foods, natch — about where you can find other hip young people.
The consensus seems to be that they lurk in our restaurant-heavy neighborhoods like Penn Quarter, H Street and Logan Circle, and they party at Josephine, Recess and Smith Commons. There's nothing here about Columbia Heights, though, which we all know from the New York Times is a hip neighborhood, too. After all, it boasts Meridian Pint, Wonderland Ballroom and Room 11.
