It's a big day for Bethesda-based pizza news. Eater hears word that Pizzeria Da Marco's official opening date is finally set for May 16. The Neapolitan pizzeria was originally slated to open on Woodmont Avenue in late March, but experienced delays related to the procurement of their wood-burning oven from Naples. And now Bethesda magazine reports that Haven Pizzeria Napoletana is breaking ground on Wisconsin Avenue. Haven will feature pizzas baked in an anthracite coal oven so think very crispy crust.
