EVENT PLANNING—Four local chefs are getting together Friday night for the second annual Urban Farm Table, a communal meal held that pairs the chefs with local farmers and wineries. Each of the participating chefs — including Todd Gray (Equinox, Watershed), Jaime Montes de Oca (Zentan), Amy Brandwein (Casa Nonna) and Xavier Deshayes (Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center) — will prepare one of the seasonal dinner's four courses. Tickets are available online for $120 for the event that will be held under the stars on the Woodrow Wilson Plaza starting at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception. [EaterWire]
PALISADES—Belgian restaurant (and diplomatic favorite) Et Voila is hosting its first-ever Belgian beer festival starting tomorrow through Sunday. They'll be offering $4 Belgian brews from 5 to 7 each night of the festival, plus daily beer flights for $15 at any time during the festival. Tomorrow night, the restaurant is hosting a five-course dinner for $65 per person. And, of course, Et Voila's own menu will highlight dishes made with beer — like their Hoegaarden ice cream. This should whet your appetite for next month's Belgian Restaurant Week. [EaterWire]
BUBBLY TRUCKS—Girl Meets Food reported this morning that there's going to be a truck roaming around DC next week serving sparkling wine and tapas. Freixenet's truck is in Baltimore now, but is expected in DC on June 23. [Twitter]
