Todd Gray's Muse At The Corcoran Grand Opening Saturday

Though Todd Gray and Ellen Kassoff Gray have only just recently opened the doors to their second restaurant Watershed, they've already got a new grand opening to celebrate. The restaurateur duo is behind Muse, the new to-go cafe in the Corcoran Gallery of Art's atrium that has been open for limited service this week and will officially open on Saturday.

Gray designed the menu with a focus on seasonal ingredients and sustainability, according to a press release — not too much of a surprise, given that it's the same approach that he's taken to Equinox and Watershed. Twists on Equinox's Amish chicken salad and Watershed's corn chowder have found their way onto the menu, which also includes several sandwiches and a rotating "White House Farmer's Market" panini. There are nine options for vegans and vegetarians, and apparently the menu will be switched up occasionally to fit in theme with the gallery's latest exhibits. There are also plans for a Sunday brunch. Saturday's grand opening happily coincides with the Corcoran's Free Summer Saturdays program, too.
