PENN QUARTER—Starting tomorrow, The Source is unleashing a family-style menu modeled after a Chinese banquet. The weekly rotating menu is priced at $65 per person and includes things like angry soft shell crabs. It'll be available for dinner service through September 3. [EaterWire]

ATLAS DISTRICT—Frozen Tropics reports that the Red Palace — otherwise known as the newly merged Palace of Wonders and Red and the Black — has opened its patio for business. [FT]

CHARITYWIRE—If you like kids, summer camp and eating, here's a charity that combines all three. Every Wednesday from now through July, all of the area Clyde's locations plus the Old Ebbitt Grill will feature a special item on their menus. If you order it, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Washington Post's Send a Kid To Camp campaign. [EaterWire]
