Paging America Eats Tavern

Eater_Lincoln_150.jpgThe City Paper's Chris Shott brings a Civil War scholar with him to critique Lincoln and see how the new restaurant stacks up against history. Some of the dishes turn out to be true to Honest Abe, but the entire concept? Not so much. Apparently, the nation's 16th president was not much of an eater or a drinker: "I mean, this was a guy who grew up on possum stew and squirrel dip. He’s not going to be interested in anything but sustenance." [WCP]
