1) Bethesda: After just under two decades in business, Delhi Dhaba has decided to call it quits on its Bethesda Row location. Owner Paul Dumera tells Bethesda Magazine that the new lease offer was just too expensive. The other two locations in Arlington and the District are safe, though. [Bethesda]
2) Alexandria: Farm-to-table restaurant Food Matters served its last meal — buffet-style — on Sunday night in Alexandria. The Washington Business Journal hears from owner Tom Przystawik that the decision was made because the restaurant couldn't pay its bills and other reasons: "Location was a problem too. I could list 20 other things. At this point, we have no plans to reopen." [WBJ]
