Welcome to the Plywood Report, where we fill you in on what's coming up in food. See anything happening in your neighborhood? Let us know.
1) Chinatown: The signage for Mike Isabella's Graffiato went up just before Memorial Day weekend and Eater hears there's more to be added in order to comply with the neighborhood's standards. A peek inside reveals stools stacked on the bar, but there's no word yet on opening dates. [PLYWOOD]
2) Atlas District: Frozen Tropics gets the deets on Pho Bar & Grill, which expects to open on H Street in the fall. They'll be serving pho, banh mi, spring rolls and the other usual Vietnamese suspects with two dining floors and a roofdeck. [PLYWOOD]
3) Atlas District: Prince of Petworth has pictures of TruOrleans now compared to how it looked like back in January. Opening day is not far away. [PLYWOOD]
