It's not set to open until February 2012, but there's already plenty of interest surrounding Sushiko owner Daisuke Utagawa's forthcoming Penn Quarter noodle shop. The Washingtonian gets a few menu details out of Utagawa for Daikaya, his noodle shop that has yet to be built, including that it will serve three types of broth, Hokkaido-imported noodles and customizable toppings like egg, pork and clams. The booze will be found in the izakaya upstairs, where the menu is still up in the air. [Washingtonian]
