Just as things were quieting down over Shake Shack's grand opening in Dupont Circle, Nationals Park confirms that New York restaurateur Danny Meyer's four concepts for the ballpark will officially open to the general public on Tuesday after a VIP party Monday night. Headlining the concessions will be DC's second location of that famous burger, hot dog and frozen custard joint, Shake Shack, alongside the Blue Smoke's barbecue. Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group is also duplicating two of its concepts from the New York Mets' home, Citi Field — Box Frites ("Belgian-style fries and dipping sauces") and El Verano Taqueria. FYI, Tuesday night's game is against the Cardinals, if you're planning to be there on opening day.
