Last night, the President and First Lady hosted German Chancellor Angela Merkel and somewhere around 200 others for a State Dinner in the Rose Garden. Obama Foodorama dissects the four-course menu, which includes a chopped salad from the White House garden (with White House honey vinaigrette, natch), regionally sourced ingredients like Maryland blue crab and an apple strudel in honor of Merkel's country. And, like your usual Tuesday night dinner, the National Symphony Orchestra and James Taylor performed. [ObFo]
