The Hill pens a nice profile of Old Town Alexandria chef and empire-builder Cathal Armstrong, who kicked off his kitchen career as a dishwasher back in his native Ireland — and now, of course, owns several local restaurants, including the recent opened Virtue Feed & Grain. Casually dropped in there, though, is a little nugget about Armstrong's future projects — including a second location of Eamonn's supposedly scheduled for Columbia Pike in September. Eater reached out to a rep for the casual Dublin chipper who declined to comment on whether Eamonn's really is going to Arlington, but says there are "big things happening" in the restaurant group. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
