The Current talks to the owners of the bakery and cafe, who cite rising food costs and the lack of a liquor license as the reason for their decision to close shop. Though Furin's did try salvaging business via Groupon and LivingSocial-style deals, it didn't help: "We got a lot of business, but you see them one time and that’s it." [The Current via WCP]
