Week In Reviews

salt-and-pepper-150.jpgTom Sietsema gives Salt & Pepper the First Bite treatment this week, with a look at the casual eatery and its owners who previously worked at BlackSalt and Equinox. The critic is a fan of the onion rings and the meatloaf, and not so much the pork chop or shrimp and grits. But Sietsema's toughest criticism was for the neighborhood itself: "For all its money and population, the Palisades neighborhood in Northwest Washington is surprisingly bereft of places to eat."
