Spike Mendelsohn has been talking about his plans to expand Good Stuff Eatery for some time now, and today the Washingtonian confirms that the Capitol Hill burger joint is opening up an outpost in Crystal City, possibly by as early as January. The new space — the lease for which a rep tells Eater was only just signed late last week — will be located on Crystal Drive and is apparently "two to three times larger" than the Capitol Hill location. And though the menu is going to be the same, the Arlington outpost is going to have a fancy-sounding milkshake station.
Georgetown is the place to look for the third Good Stuff Eatery outpost — eventually. The rep says they're still looking at two spaces there and haven't yet settled on one. And beyond that? The world! According to the Washingtonian, "the next phase is to open in other cities including Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, and somewhere in Texas. The three-to-five-year plan is to go international, probably in Europe."
