Mike Isabella took Unplugged, Under 40 for a spin around Graffiato yesterday and addresses the topic that is always and forever up for discussion: Just where oh where does DC stand in the global food scene? Isabella auditions for head cheerleader, declaring, "I feel like we're probably the fastest-growing culinary city in America and we're soon going to be one of the top in America. I feel like we're getting close to it now."
In between chatting up customers and declaring his pizza oven the true star of Graffiato, the former Top Chef contestant also notes that every table orders the pepperoni sauce and gnocchi dishes that were featured on the show. He recommends the sweet corn angolotti, in case you were wondering.
