Washingtonian critic Todd Kliman dragged some friends along for an afternoon of marathon eating at the Eden Center. The stops are Pho Xe Lua, Nhu Lan and Viet Taste, but this is less a review and more a tale of the limits of human gluttony with his friends ready to give up by the third stop. Who is good at this kind of eating, though? Other critics, of course: "Robert Sietsema, of the Village Voice, is a metabolic marvel with Rabelaisian appetites, and three straight meals for him is, in many cases, a mere afternoon's work."
