There's nothing like business meetings at Hooters: The City Paper reports that Ward 5 Councilmember Harry Thomas Jr. racked up a $143.71 tab at the "delightfully tacky" chain on a debit card belonging to his nonprofit — which the District's attorney general says may have been using taxpayer funding. The organization's goal? To introduce DC youth to sports. Uh oh. But, hey, Hooters is a sports bar, after all. [WCP]
