Ian Reeves Replacing Adam Stein At H Street's Queen Vic

The Atlas District's Queen Vic is only just verging on its five-month anniversary, but already the kitchen has lost its executive chef. Frozen Tropics reported this weekend that Adam Stein resigned from the gastropub for reasons unknown. But owner Ryan Gordon tells Eater that the Queen Vic has already found a replacement: Ian Reeves, most recently posted at North London's Bull & Last gastropub. The new chef starts this week, Gordon says, so presumably there will be minimal awkward turnover time.

As for Stein, no word on his future plans, but co-owner Roneeka Gordon tells Frozen Tropics that "Adam was with The Vic from the start and created an amazing menu and for that we have only the most respect for him and wish him all the best for the future."
