Hawk 'n' Dove's Official Shutter Date; A New Name For ACKC

CAPITOL HILL—The 44-year-old Hawk 'n' Dove is shuttering and now we have an official end date to share: October 2. The bar sent out a press release this afternoon acknowledging its shutter and the date. And stay tuned because the bar also says it will be announcing a series of celebrations for its final month shortly after Labor Day. And once October arrives? LOGAN CIRCLE—The ACKC Cocoa Bar would like you to please stop calling it that. The Logan Circle sweets shop has expanded its horizons over the years — to include a wine bar and plans for becoming an entertainment venue — and will be calling itself just plain Artfully Chocolate Bistro now.
