1) Dupont Circle: New York's Boqueria is hiring a senior management team, including a general manager and a chef de cuisine, for the new location the restaurant is opening in Dupont Circle. The job ad advises applicants to check out Boqueria's DC website, but for now that redirects to the New York site. Also, it indicates that the restaurant will open in "late fall." [PLYWOOD]
2) Metro Center: The Hamilton, the latest project from the Clyde's restaurant group, has posted some new photos from its buildout. As you may recall, the lower level is going to be a music venue and they've begun the brick work there. Please see in the gallery above a "bronze eagle separating the dining room from the Oak Bar." [PLYWOOD]
3) Rockville: The Washington Business Journal reports that grocer Ellwood Thompson's will definitely be opening a location in Rockville Town Square in spring 2012. It will, however, operate under the name Dawson's Market, a name which Bethesda magazine learns that the market used with permission from a local family "whose 1874 farmhouse and park are on the National Historic Register." [PRE-PLYWOOD]
4) Shirlington: ARLnow reports that a new place called 4 Seasons Steakhouse is headed to the Village at Shirlington, though there are no public records available to confirm. Also, they would like a chef who has experience with steak. [PLYWOOD]
5) Columbia Heights: Construction work at the forthcoming Columbia Heights location of Panera Bread seems to have amped up lately with workers carrying in some heavy-looking kitchen equipment this morning. [PLYWOOD]
