CHINATOWN—Now that he has his very own restaurant here in DC, celebrity chef and occasional Entourage cameo person Bobby Flay will be in town tomorrow night as a stop on his tour for Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain Cookbook. He'll speak for about 45 minutes at the 6th and I Historic Synagogue, followed by a Q&A session and then some book signing. Tickets are $40 and include a copy of the book. [EaterWire]
ADAMS MORGAN—The Washingtonian gets some new details on Mintwood Place, the new restaurant set to open on Columbia Road in mid-October. The menu will be on the small side and will include things like roasted chicken cassoulet, cioppino and more. Then at the bar they'll have things like frogs legs and snails. And, eventually, head chef Cedric Maupillier aims to open for breakfast, too. [Washingtonian]
