Starbucks Plans Grocery Business

starbucks-logo.pngStarbucks CEO Howard Schultz took a break from his political endeavors to tell a German newspaper about the coffee behemoth's plans. It seems the mermaid is "going to build a major multibillion-dollar business in the grocery industry" both domestically and internationally. Schultz also hinted at some new products and "entirely new categories" being rolled out in the next 12 to 18 months. No wonder the company's new logo scrapped the word "coffee." [Spiegel via -EN-]
