Bonmi Opening In October; Poste Names a New Chef

DOWNTOWN—A Vietnamese sandwich and salad shop named Bonmi announced today that it'll be opening up shop in October. On the menu you'll find banh mi sandwiches, summer rolls and customizable salads — and nothing that costs more than $10. So there's another lunch option for downtown workers. Stay tuned for updates on the exact opening date. [EaterWire]

PENN QUARTER—About two weeks after Rob Weland left the kitchen at Poste, the Kimpton-run restaurant has already found a new replacement in Dennis Marron. New menus are then expected in November. [EaterWire]
