Well, here's some strange news by way of the Washingtonian. Critic Todd Kliman is reporting that restaurateur Michael Landrum plans to open up a brand new restaurant tonight. The thing, though, is that no one knows what that restaurant will be. It does not have a name, the menu has not been decided and whatever is served tonight is basically just going to be a preview of whatever happens eventually.
There's been speculation about this space housing Ray's the Catch or another location of Ray's Hell Burger, but Landrum is keeping quiet for now. He will say, though, that while they'll have alcohol there will never be a mixology program. But, hey, the guy does run quite a few popular restaurants so it might be worth checking out when it opens at 5 p.m.
