1) Bloomingdale: Tonight is the big night for the opening of the Boundary Stone, a pub that says it will "strive to be the cornerstone" of the burgeoning Bloomingdale community. As Urban Daddy reported last week, Boundary Stone has got your canned beer selection, "a library of 50-plus whiskeys" and a jukebox full of classics. The menu is fairly small and sandwich-friendly, with burgers, falafel and a DC Brau chicken sandwich. Status: Opens tonight at 5. 116 Rhode Island Ave, NW; website

2) Bethesda: As Bethesda Magazine tweeted this morning, Naked Pizza opens its Bethesda location on Friday. The health-conscious chain with probiotic agave fiber pies has a menu featuring nine pizzas plus the opportunity to create your own. In that case, you'll get a choice of three crusts (original, skinny and gluten-free), sauces (red, white or barbecue), plus a ton of vegetables and even some meat options for the carnivores. Status: Opens Friday at 10:30 a.m. 4914 Del Ray Ave; website

3) Columbia Heights: New Columbia Heights reports that the Panera Bread will bring its sandwiches, salads, soups and baked goods to Columbia Heights this week, opening up officially on Friday between IHOP and Panda Express on the Irving Street side of the DC USA complex. Status: Opens Friday, perhaps as early as 6 a.m., the store's regular opening hours. 3100 14th St, NW; website
