SHAW—Hey, fans of fish-and-chips chain Arthur Treacher's: Prince of Petworth reports that the new location in Shaw is officially open. Go get it. [PoP]

DUPONT CIRCLE—Whereas you once might have dined at the Jockey Club, you will now be dining at 2100 Prime. The Washington Business Journal explains that the restaurant housed within The Fairfax at Embassy Row hotel has rebranded itself — there's a new chef in Mark Timms and a new menu with things like chicken 'n' crepes and "foraged mushrooms." CHEFISMS—The Washington Post compiles some of their favorite "chefisms" — phrases coined by chefs both local and in New York. Poste's new chef Dennis Marron has a kind of gross knock for all of his "slow and sloppy" cooks: "You cook like old people make love." [WaPo]
