CAPITOL HILL—Don't forget that this weekend is your last to savor the sweaty dance parties and slice of Capitol HIll history that is Hawk 'n' Dove. The dive — which will soon be under new management — will cease to exist as you know it after Sunday. [WaPo]

U STREET—As you may recall, Cafe Saint-Ex went through an extensive kitchen renovation this summer. Now that everything is back up and running, executive chef Billy Klein has had some time to work up a brand new menu. That menu will launch on October 5 with dishes like foie gras brulee, chicken fried veal saltimbocca and a vegetarian entree — sweet corn risotto croquettes. Available now, though, is a new four-course tasting menu for $49 that will rotate selections from the regular menu. [EaterWire]

COLUMBIA HEIGHTS—It's time for another pig roast, this time on the patio at The Heights. This will be going down from noon to 8 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. [EaterWire]

BALLSTON—This Sunday, Willow is hosting World Fare: A Street Food Festival Event, a lady-friendly festival featuring food from some of the DC area's best female chefs like Nora Pouillon (Restaurant Nora), Amy Brandwein (Casa Nonna), Shannon Overmiller (The Majestic), Ris Lacoste (Ris) and Jamie Leeds (Hank's Oyster Bar). There will also be live and silent auctions hosted by Carla Hall and Nycci Nellis. Tickets are $65 in advance and $75 at the door for the event which starts at 5 p.m. [EaterWire]
