MCLEAN—Last month Clinton Portis sold his house (with nightclub-themed basement) for less than he paid for it a few years ago. We've got the price chop history and a dozen photos of the place, but no sight of the rumored stripper pole.

BROOKLAND—A new development by EYA homes is selling fast. Only eleven of the first hundred are still available and phase 2 is now selling. There are over two hundred townhomes planned for the community. We have a photo gallery and price information over on Curbed.

16th STREET HEIGHTS—Michelle Rhee got a bit of her own medicine. The house she bought for less than its asking price is one she just sold for less than she paid.

COLUMBIA HEIGHTS—The next big thing for this neighborhood is the opening of 1020 Monroe. Next Wednesday the building is hosting a Burgers and Brew open house to see the finished one and two bedrooms that are for sale.

PETWORTH—This week's Under 300K Club is a hot mess, but a good deal.

SHENANDOAH VALLEY—The NY Times weekly What You Get For...column found a house in Virginia that was the birthplace of a member of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Click over for a gallery of photos.
