An Expanded DC Meat Week Unveils Its 2012 Schedule

New, 1 comment

Good news, meat-lovers: as of the end of this month DC Meat Week is back for its third year of what is basically an excuse to eat a lot of meat and make friends with other people who like to eat a lot of meat. Specifically, barbecue. And this year, the event has expanded to eight nights and reflects the proliferation of all kinds of barbecue that opened up in the DC area in 2011 — Hill Country, Pork Barrel BBQ, Smoke & Barrel, and Memphis Barbeque are all among the hosts. It all gets started on January 29 and events are drop-in with specials for Meat Week participants.
