Updates on Cava Grill, Green Pig, District Taco and More

1) Tysons Corner: Construction on the Cava Grill headed to Tysons Corner is underway, as evidenced by this photo the restaurant tweeted of its patio being built. They also noted that they are targeting a March opening. [PLYWOOD]

2) Clarendon: The Going Out Gurus report that the forthcoming Clarendon bistro The Green Pig is aiming for a February opening and learns a little bit about the menu — chef Scot Harlan is keeping it classic and affordable and eschewing fancy charcuterie for what he calls "redneck charcuterie." 3) Metro Center: Remember how District Taco said they were opening a location in the District proper, but wouldn't divulge an address? ARLnow discovers that it will be located at 1309 F Street NW and construction is already underway for a possibly spring opening. [PLYWOOD]

4) Adams Morgan: Prince of Petworth snaps a picture of the awning that has gone up over the forthcoming Southern Hospitality in the old Adams Mill space. [PLYWOOD]

5) K Street: Thrillist takes a look inside Fuel Pizza, which is expected to soft-open next week, and discovers the space "looks like someone Windex-ed the hell out of a highway rest stop, what with its two floors of gleaming antique pumps, vintage signs, and old motor oil cans hanging from the ceiling."
