Truxton Circle could soon be the recipient of its very own wine bar, perhaps even by spring or summer of this year. In Shaw attended the Bates Area Civic Association meeting where the people behind a place named SnitchEye Wine Bar came out looking for neighborhood support. The wine bar's Facebook page explains that they "are about to enter negotiations with a property on Florida Ave and 3rd street." So we'll see what happens. [In Shaw via PoP]
