Food Trucks

Forbes takes up the cause of DC-area food trucks with a piece about the new proposed regulations. The magazine notes that the controversy says a lot about business in America, particularly that "it’s too easy to take out competition by leveraging the power of the state. A more genial restaurant industry would lobby for fewer rules and an better regulatory climate for everyone. But that would be hard work – it’s much easier to add new rules and penalties than to role back old, bad rules and penalties." [Forbes]
