LISTICLES—Travel + Leisure released a list of the best brunches in America and the very second restaurant on the list was Capitol Hill's very own Ted's Bulletin and its "feeling of comforting nostalgia when you enter." The magazine specifically calls out the steak breakfast burrito and the Texas toast egg-and-cheese sandwich as dishes to remember. [T+L via Eater National]
POP-UPS—Beginning tomorrow evening, Cuba Libre debuts its “Pop-Up Paladares” cooking series in which chef Guillermo Pernot is bringing in a series of guest Cuban chefs to collaborate with him on a four-course menu. So from January 17-19, Pernot will be joined by Havana chef Luis Alberto Alfonso Perez for seatings that begin at 6 and 8:30 p.m. and will cost you $39 per person. [EaterWire]
