After a search through DC's liquor stores for a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon turned up empty, City Paper contributor Sam Hiersteiner calls up South Carolina chef Sean Brock for advice. Brock complied: "What you do is you check the Pappy website for the vendors in your area. Then you kiss the asses of every one of them.
