AWARDS SEASON—AAA has released their list of five diamond restaurants for 2012 and, not too surprisingly, both CityZen and the Inn at Little Washington held onto their five diamond ratings. This marks the 24th straight year for the Inn at Little Washington, which holds the record for longest five diamond tenure. [Eater National]
POP-UPS—There are too many jokes to be made about a pop-up shop for sausages so let's just play it straight: DCist reports that 13th St. Meats will host a pop-up shop on Saturday at Pharmacy Bar in Adams Morgan. They'll have six types of sausage on hand, including "half-smokes, spicy Italian, smoked duck, roasted poblano, German weisswurst and lemon basil chicken." It gets underway at 1 p.m. [DCist]
ADAMS MORGAN—The Going Out Gurus have put together a guide to Adams Morgan, a neighborhood they write has "seen an influx of businesses catering to customers more interested in quality food and drinks than in Jagerbombs and hookups." The guide mixes old neighborhood favorites like Perry's and Cashion's Eat Place with newer spots, such as Jack Rose and Smoke & Barrel. [WaPo]
