Q&A Time

This week's issue of the City Paper is their Answers Issue, in which they attempt to answer a bunch of random reader-submitted questions. Among them all are a few restaurant-related questions, including "Why does our city not value great bread?" "Why doesn't the District have an authentic Jewish deli" and "What is it with 'soft' restaurant openings in D.C.?" Of that last one, Chris Shott chimes in with this explanation: "to keep the critics out." [WCP]
