So it appears that Northeast DC's Benning neighborhood is on the verge of getting a couple new restaurants in the ground floor of the Minnesota-Benning Government Center. The Washington Post reported over the weekend that the DC government has selected the folks behind J. Paul's and Georgia Brown's for a potential lease at the site, which would be "part culinary and part workforce education" for DC youth. If the deals go through, it'll go in alongside another new spot called Eclectic Café — which itself is from the folks behind now-shuttered East River Bagel. [WaPo]
