Now that we've officially moved into 2012, it's time to look ahead to that other new year — the Year of the Dragon. And, once again, The Source by Wolfgang Puck announced this morning that it is celebrating with a special Chinese New Year menu and a visit from the celebrity chef himself. Though this one might not be as buzzy as last year's — it was on the heels of Barack and Michelle Obama's visit to the Penn Quarter restaurant — hey, it's still Wolfgang Puck hosting a dinner at his DC restaurant.
The Source is already accepting reservations for the Feb. 3 dinner, which is five courses of things like lobster dumplings and peking duck for $125 per person ($175 with wine pairings). But note that the Year of the Dragon menu will also be available beginning on Jan. 23, the first day of the Chinese New Year, alongside executive chef Scott Drewno's regular a la carte menu.
