After 26 years in Bethesda, Tragara restaurant is closing its doors at the end of this month and making way for 4935 Bar & Kitchen. Bethesda magazine explains that the Tragara shutter is due to the owner's health problems. As for the new restaurant, it will be modern American "with a French-Indian twist," meaning dishes such as tandoori pork chops, and scallops served with jalapeno quinoa and buerre blanc.
