While the hot new Brixton still settles into the U Street Corridor, the prolific Hilton brothers have continued their expansion with this week's opening of Satellite Room. Here now, take a spin inside the diner-inspired setting tucked back behind the 9:30 Club, making it a perfect spot for a pre- or post-show burger thanks to its late-night hours. The space has exposed brick walls, tiled bartops, ample patio space with a bar of its own and a giant neon sign behind the main bar.

Satellite Room's menu offers a number of burger options, including the possibility of building one's own burger, plus tacos, pot pie, chile rellenos, huevos rancheros, buttermilk pancakes, meatloaf, chicken fried steak and other southwest-diner-inspired dishes. As previously noted, there's a whole list of booze-filled milkshakes such as the AC Slater and the Lucy Ricardo. They've got Bud Lite, Devil's Backbone, Starr Hill and more on tap, plus a small list of bottled beer and wine. Here's the menu, though please note it's still subject to change.
