In his chat today, Todd Kliman addresses the mediocre dishes commonly found on menus — and issues a warning to local restaurants: "When I think of mediocrity in the area, I don't just think of dishes — I think of a cuisine. Ironically, the cuisine that we associate with Caesar salads and tiramisu. Italian food. Most Italian food in this area is simply not worth the money or the calories. Unless you're paying top dollar.
