The trend of 14th Street restaurants launching lunch service —at least on Fridays— continues. Young & Hungry reports that The Pig will open for lunch Fridays beginning this week, with soups, sandwiches and salads dominating the selections. The restaurant joins others such as Estadio, Taylor Gourmet and Pearl Dive, all of which have brought in profits from the mid-day crowd. [WCP]
