"I feel like I'm in one of those townhall debates," Cook's Illustrated founder Christopher Kimball said yesterday, after being asked about the peculiarities of whole wheat flour during a Q&A session at the National Museum of American History. Kimball, who introduced himself as Rachael Ray, told the crowd that he's often confused with Alton Brown. Promoting his new book, "The Science of Good Cooking," he answered science-y cooking questions and asserted that making a great meal takes longer than 30 minutes. - Adele Chapin [Facebook]
