Next Stop for Sweetgreen: Boston

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

First DC. Then New York. Now Boston.

A rep for the salad chain sends word that Sweetgreen has signed a lease for its first Boston location. The restaurant is headed to 659 Boylston St., a former Ritz Camera space, and will open up sometime next spring. Boston residents have become aware of the brand mostly due to the company's annual Sweetlife music festival, the spokesman said. Boston Magazine has additional details.

Sweetgreen signed its first lease in New York City back in October, and seems to be opening practically a new location a month around here, most recently in the West End.
