In last week's look inside Fuego Cocina y Tequileria, the folks behind Passion Food Hospitality told Eater they were hoping to open their latest concept this evening if all went well with their mock services. Well, it appears that those went off well enough: the restaurant opens to the public at 5:30 p.m. with glorious tequila and Mexican favorites that aim for authenticity.
It's yet another new beginning for the restaurant space that once housed Harry's Tap Room, which was briefly converted into Market Tavern before finally shuttering earlier this year. In its latest incarnation, the space offers a 50-foot wraparound bar, bright murals, a linear fireplace and an open kitchen into which diners can peer and watch employees making tortillas and more. The full menu is available on the restaurant's Facebook page.
