1) Del Ray : The Del Ray Patch has a chat with Swing Coffee Roasters' owner, who said he's still sorting out contractor issues for his new coffeeshop headed to 501 E. Monroe Ave. The location will house the company's wholesale operations and later have a cafe. Expect to see it in early 2013. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
2) Capital Riverfront: JD Land has an eye on Kruba Thai and says the restaurant's owners are aiming for a Nov. 12 opening of the restaurant. The restaurant is located in the ground floor of Foundry Lofts, part of The Yards development. [PLYWOOD]
3) Glover Park: More progress for the Glover Park location of Sweetgreen. WBJ's Mike Neibauer sees that the salad chain has gotten a permit for its 2200 Wisconsin Ave. location, which is supposed to open in Nov. [PLYWOOD]
4) Leesburg: Leesburg Today says that Fairfax-based Cupcakes Actually has signed a lease for a location in Loudoun County, which will open in 2013. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
