Tom Sietsema on Anthony Bourdain: fanboy or hater? In one of the more random questions today during his weekly chat, a recent reader of Kitchen Confidential asks the critic to weigh in on Bourdain as a chef. Sietsema's response is pretty measured. "Well, I never had his cooking, but I did eat at the (late) Les Halles here. It was fine," he said. "Bourdain is an excellent writer. But it's not as if he's some Michel Richard or Eric Ripert."
