Openings for Himalayan Heritage, Wiseguy Pizza, More

1) Bethesda: Bethesda Magazine takes a tour through Himalayan Heritage, which is occupying the space formerly housed by Queen Bee. Besides Indian dishes, there are Nepalese specialities such as momo dumplings and Indian takes on Chinese dishes such as chow men. Their soft opening begins today, with a grand opening on Nov. 5. This is the restaurant's second location, with another in DC. Status: Softly open. 4925 Bethesda Ave.; website.

2) Mt. Vernon Triangle: The Triangle attends a soft opening event for Wiseguy NY Pizza. Garlic knots, pizzas and salads are all on the menu. The grand opening is scheduled for Nov. 7. Status: Softly open. 300 Massachusetts Ave.. NW; website.

3) Fairfax: The DC Internationalist sends word that the Fair Oaks Mall location of Elevation Burger is now open. It's located on the upper level of the mall, near Sears. Status: Certified Open. 11750 Fair Oaks Mall Dr.; website.

4) Adams Morgan: After a brief soft opening phase, a rep from ramen shop TAAN sends word that the restaurant will have its grand opening Nov. 2. Look for kushiyaki, onigiri, small plates and three types of ramen on the menu. Status: Opening tomorrow. 1817 Columbia Road; website.
