Burger 7, Paul Bakery Both Have Soft Openings

1) Arlington: Burger 7's soft opening is today, on the Courthouse/Clarendon border in Arlington. The restaurant, which has its original location near Tysons Corner on Rt. 7, will have a grand opening party on Friday with buy one, get one free burgers. Men dressed in burger suits are often seen outside the first location promoting the restaurant. If the website is to believed, an Alexandria restaurant is coming next month, and a Falls Church one is following in 2013. Owner Ramzi Iskandar also owns Tarbouch, just down the street from the Arlington store. Status: Softly open. 2515 Lee Highway; website.

2) Downtown: Paul Bakery's location at 20th St. NW and Pennsylvania Ave. NW, right near Founding Farmers, has its soft opening today. The France-based bakery announced the date on Twitter this morning. Paul has several locations in the area, including Penn Quarter and Georgetown.
